Built by Dog Lovers, for Dog Lovers

PawQR started with a simple, painful question: "If my dog got lost tomorrow, would a stranger know how to reach me?" The answer, for most Indian dog owners, is no.

How PawQR Started

In the summer of 2023, one of our founders lost her dog Kaju for six terrifying hours during a neighbourhood fire evacuation in Pune. Kaju had a collar with an engraved tag — but the number was outdated, the engraving had faded, and no one who found her knew about the heart medication she needed.

Kaju was found. But those six hours were a wake-up call. After speaking with dozens of dog owners and veterinarians across India, the pattern was clear: Indian dog parents are deeply devoted — but almost none had a real emergency plan for their dogs.

We built PawQR to fix that. Not with a complicated app or an expensive device, but with something simple: a kit that gives every dog a 7-day emergency supply and a smart QR tag that anyone can scan to reunite them with their family.

Our Mission

"Every dog deserves a safety plan. Every dog owner deserves peace of mind. We exist to make that possible for every family in India."

Safety First

Every product decision is made through the lens of "does this make a dog safer?" We don't add features for their own sake.

Simplicity

In an emergency, complexity kills. Our QR tag requires no app, no login, no tech knowledge. It just works.

Made for India

We design for Indian conditions, Indian breeds, Indian infrastructure. Not a foreign product adapted for India — built here, for here.

Community

We partner with animal shelters, rescue groups, and veterinarians across India. When a dog gets lost, the whole community benefits from a working ID system.
